Not every supporter can watch at kick-off. A replay could let someone return to an authorised VR event later, particularly if they live in another time zone or have other commitments during the match.
OowOah supports recorded event experiences where enabled. That does not mean a replay is automatically included with every live ticket or that every sports recording can be offered afterwards.
Agree the replay before advertising it
The club needs to confirm the recording arrangements, permissions and intended access period. State whether the replay is included in the live booking, offered separately or unavailable. Viewers should not have to guess.
Check the recorded result as well as the live feed. Sound, interruptions and the camera position will still affect the experience after the event. A replay cannot recover action that the original viewpoint failed to show.
Describe what viewers can expect
A recording of a fixed 360° position would preserve that perspective. It is not automatically an edited highlights package, a searchable coaching tool or a set of alternative camera angles.
For a first project, discuss both live and replay plans with OowOah and the event organiser. A clear booking description should explain how the content will be accessed and when it will stop being available. The useful opportunity is more flexibility for supporters, with the offer based on a recording the club is entitled and prepared to share.
