OowOah Live Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for tickets purchased through OowOah Live.

OowOah Ltd provides the technology platform that enables Event Organisers to create, promote and sell tickets for their own events. OowOah Ltd is not the organiser, host or provider of the events listed on the platform.

2. Who Is Responsible for Refunds?

The Event Organiser is solely responsible for all decisions relating to refunds, cancellations, postponements, event changes and customer support.

When you purchase a ticket, you are entering into a contract with the Event Organiser, not OowOah Ltd.

3. Requesting a Refund

If you wish to request a refund, you should contact the Event Organiser using the contact details provided on the event listing or confirmation email.

The Organiser will assess your request in accordance with their published refund policy and any applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Event Cancellations or Changes

If an Event Organiser cancels, postpones or significantly changes an event, the Organiser is responsible for notifying ticket holders and arranging any refunds or alternative arrangements.

5. OowOah’s Role

OowOah Ltd provides the ticketing and virtual event platform only.

OowOah Ltd does not make decisions regarding refunds and is not responsible for the fulfilment of events, the quality of an event, or any losses arising from an event being cancelled, postponed or changed.

6. Platform Fees

Where a refund is approved by the Event Organiser, the refund should cover the full amount paid by the attendee, including any platform fees charged as part of the original ticket purchase.

The financial settlement of those fees is the responsibility of the Event Organiser under their agreement with OowOah Ltd.

7. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback through your card issuer, we encourage you to contact the Event Organiser to try to resolve the issue.

Unauthorised or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of your OowOah account while the matter is investigated.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
